Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) by supporting recruitment, employee evaluation, workforce planning, learning, and decision-making. However, its implementation presents significant managerial challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, employee trust, accountability, and resistance to technological change. This article examines the key challenges associated with AI adoption in HRM and explores strategies for ensuring responsible, transparent, and human-centered implementation. It emphasizes the importance of ethical governance, explainable AI, data protection, employee participation, managerial oversight, and continuous monitoring. The article argues that successful AI adoption requires balancing technological efficiency with human judgment and organizational values. A human-centered approach can help organizations improve HR processes while protecting employee rights, fairness, transparency, and trust.
