Abstract

This research explores the various unethical strategies employed by recruitment firms to secure placements and fulfil client expectations. It examines the impact of such practices on the quality of candidate selection, the integrity of the recruitment process, and the long-term consequences for both clients and candidates and also the study highlights common unethical practices. The research aims to uncover the underlying motivations driving these unethical practices and the challenges faced by consultancies in maintaining ethical standards. The paper concludes with recommendations for fostering a more ethical and transparent recruitment environment, emphasizing the importance of integrity and accountability in the headhunting industry.
