Abstract

This study investigates the influence of industry-institute interactions on job placement rates and career guidance, focusing on the alignment of educational outcomes with industry requirements. Using a descriptive research approach, the study assesses students' perceptions of career guidance programs and internships. The findings indicate that while a majority of students consider career guidance programs to be effective, there exists a notable satisfaction gap, especially among first-year students. The study underscores the importance of personalized career counseling, expanded internship opportunities, soft skills development, and mechanisms for incorporating industry feedback. Recommendations include enhancing early-stage career support, cultivating stronger industry partnerships, and continuously adapting career services to address the evolving needs of the job market.
